Last night we went to see Jarvis Cocker at Music Hall in Williamsburg. It’s always inspiring to see Jarvis perform. He’s such a showman and his new album proves that he’s on a steady path as what I would describe as the Johnny Cash of indie music. Quirky lyrics and while a clean break from anything pop or pulp, musically infectious. “Further Complications” is definitely a must for your music collection.

I’m back in Tokyo for a month to dj for Le Baron de Paris. This time…my partner in crime, Patrick Delaney happens to be here for modeling…as per our first time to Tokyo together back in 2004 for Hedi Slimane’s Dior party…. Upon arrival , Olympia and I dj’d together Thursday night at Le Baron. The weekend Patty and I went exploring..

I took off for Hangover , Germany to do a video for “Nightology” w/ Robert Knoke ..then to Barcelona to DJ Razzmatazz , and then off to Paris Fashion week to DJ Stella McCartney party and “New York , NY” at Le Regine.

Wow, What a Birthday - It fell on a Friday - so it was dinner , Ruff Club, KP & 24 Court did some honorary bondage for my birthday . TV Baby performed ..and then DJ’d afterhours at Mr. Black w/ Javi & Sammy Jo . Javi Estalella came from Barcelona to DJ my party. We stayed at the Standard one night …then at the Tribeca Grand the rest of the weekend.

ART BASEL MIAMI

From Tokyo I went to Miami for Art Basel Miami… Not as crazy as times before due to the economy - but I still managed to party. I dj’d 3 nights in a row. Marlyn Manson’s art party at Louis, Rok Bar & Surface Magazine party at the Gansevoort rooftop. ..then drove to the Keys for a little R’n R with my ol’ friend Matt & his dog Willis.

I’ve promoting the “…PRODUCT” mix cd compilation for Coco Machete here in Europe. After yet another jaunt to the other side of the pond the grass feels greener than ever. After a quite amazing CD release at Ruff Club (9.5) w/ the Death Set (live) .. it was a blur of New York Fashion week..which oozed with booze some sort of party to dj every night for 8 nights in a row. Fast forwarding … very quickly I went to LA to dj for “DANCE” a highly energized ,.. youthful party thrown by DJ Paparazzi . This was a fun trip , but it was only 20 hours on the west coast and it was off to Paris for the CD release party (9.26) thrown by Topplers (FR). The release party was at La Loco..and interesting venue to say the most..or least.. but the sets were great, Toxic Avenger, Fluo Kids, and Fukkk Offf and myself dj’d. The next night I went to Berlin to DJ the new club , Badlands, recently opened by 1/2 of the legendary Club Rio (still my favorite to date).. After a blurr of a dj set, a short stint at an afterhours and a quite amazing after - afterhours.. It was back to Paris. The next week would be spent in a routine of big group dinners, then off to some sort of Fashion label party, a dj set, and ending up either at Le Baron or Le Regine. The Stella McCartney afterparty was awesome, Jefferson Hack and I dj’d and the Golden Silvers played, it wasn’t long before the police shut it down..so it was off to Le Baron to end the night..and kickstart the day! The closing party of P.F.W. was definitely a highlight! , “New York, New York Au Regine” was amazing. So many fellow New Yorkers came out to party. 2 Mandy Djs, MisShapes, myself DJ’d. Paul Sevigny, Tommy Saleh & Derek Blasberg hosted.

Up UP up …STATE

This weekend I went upstate after a big night at the Ruff Club w/ DJs Designer Drugs, Japanster and my lovelies..The MisShapes. [photos]

It was perfect weather …til the storm. We were up in Tivoli and we went sailing on the Hudson. I drank a whole bottle one of my favorite products…A nice chilled Parallele 45 Côte du Rhone. Such a great label too…

After an hour of sailing, cliff diving and swimming … we got caught in a lightning storm. We thought we were dead as Captain Jerome mentioned we’d just sailed by Jim Henson’s house.. I grew paranoid our ship was going to be capsized and I would be spending my thereafter with angry ghosts of Muppets past.

But that didn’t happen..It was dark , stormy … (Actually my boatmates Adrian, Christopher, Michael and gang were drinking Dark ‘N Stormy’s… a nice mixture of Dark Rum, Ginger Beer and Lime) but we made it out alive somehow.
