ALL MIXTE UP IN PARIS
July 13th, 2008After Spain we headed back to Paris for two days. Went to K7, then met up with Jesse and Al (MSTRKRFT) for dinner at Amour before their gig at social club. We made it an early night since we had to get up early for the shoot. The last night we met up with The Teenagers for another night at social club for the Metronomy show. Check them out, we never saw them live before and they are really great.
Leaving Paris we were on an Air France flight but because we got there late we were offered the option of Air India right then or wait 6 hours for the next Air France flight. We went with Air India however the only seat available was between two giant men who had been traveling direct from Mumbai to New York and the lay over was in Paris, but Air India doesn’t allow people to get off…..we didn’t want to spend the 7 hour flight between them so we got seated in the jump seats, which are the seats for crew beside the wing exit and face the opposite direction of the rest of the passengers….. thankfully we ended up on the same flight as our good friend Mike who happened to also be returning from Paris on the same flight.
