These New Puritans / Apache Beat

Tonight was the launch party for the site as well as Sophia’s Birthday at Santo’s Playhouse or Party House (It was on Lafayette somewhere). A good amount of people turned up and both floors seemed pretty busy all the way to the end of the night. It was also a good opportunity to see two bands I had been curious about checking out for a while. The first was These New Puritans who I came across last year from a few scattered singles. Also their release this year, Beat Pyramid, is worth checking out.
The second band is Ilirjana’s band Apache Beat. They put out some songs on vinyl, and I really like the vinyl format so I need to somehow get copies of those. Note to self.
