The Ting Tings
March 19th, 2008Last night Julian and I went and did an interview and shoot with The Ting Tings.
This photo is from the basement of Mercury Lounge taken with my phone. Julian’s pictures are a lot better. They were very nice and gave us a lot of insight to their whole process which is very artistic in addition to musical.
They also gave us these special 7″ that they made for their Great DJ track that have an etching on the flip. The sleeves were recycled from old used records. Mine was from a Janet Jackson single, but Julian had to one up me by getting Bobby Brown! It’s really nice to see unique thinking going into releases.
